Duties:Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working. Pull linen from laundry chute and deliver via cart to Laundry. Empty carts of food & beverage soiled linen. Assist in sorting all soiled linen; pre-treat stained linen prior to washing; ensure formulas and cycles are correct for load being readied; operate equipment to wash linen. Distribute linen to floors or other departments as needed. Keep work areas floors clean and dry. Report any damaged linen to Supervisor. Jobs consits of heavy lifting up to and over 100 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications:High School diploma or GED required. Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred. Tools & Equipment may include: washer, dryer, ironer, electronic soap device, sheet folder, laundry carts. Valid Oregon Drivers License.
