| Duties: | Responsible for preparation, serving and teardown of all Banquet functions. Work closely with the Conventions Manager and sales deptartment on all meeting/meal arrangements; special events, BEO's and audio/visual sets. In charge of hiring and training of all Service Associates in Banquets. Works closely with all Food Service Managers, i.e. cross training personnel; provides floor coverage in restaurants as needed. Responsible for the general appearance, cleanliness and operational maintenance of department. Conducts semi-annual inventories of equipment; orders necessary items upon approval of Food & Beverage Director. Maintains convention areas. Responsible for scheduling of personnel for functions; posting copies in Banquet area; copy to Food & Beverage Director; develops schedule that is fair for all. Responsible for turning in accurate and timely labor reports and tip disbursements and maintenance of records. Responsible for scheduling of salmon bake workers and dancers, and being able to answer questions regarding this area. Responsible for accurate and correct billing. |
| Qualifications: | High school diploma, or G.E.D. Valid Oregon Driver License. Food Handlers Card required. Five years prior experience in food service. 21 years of age or older and able to obtain OLCC within 30 days. Three years supervisory experience required. Possess thorough knowledge of etiquette and social customs, particularly in regard to Resort banquet functions and formal dinners. Must know office procedures and record keeping. Must have stamina for working long and various hours. Ability to train, supervise and instill pride in the work of all Banquet Service Employees. Be organized and able to perform assigned duties. Dependable, being on the job when scheduled.
